Service Description

Core Confidence will help you reconnect with and strengthen your pelvic floor and deep core leaving you with the knowledge and body awareness to move, lift and laugh with confidence. It is run by me - a trainer who has suffered my own pelvic dysfunction and overcame it! I have spent years learning every thing I can about pelvic and core health and would love to share it with you. The program consists of 8 hour long weekly small group sessions, as well as weekly emails containing exercise videos, tips and lifestyle hacks that you can implement when it suits you. Over eight weeks we will: Work through exercises specifically tailored to getting your pelvic floor & deep core firing as it should! Not all kegels here that's for sure! We start with basic activation, learning how to "engage" your core correctly (full range - length is just as important as strength). Then as our core connection improves we layer in more muscle groups and load to give you the core confidence to move as you love. Learn breathing techniques that help improve our core function as our breath has such a big impact on our core (and overall health). Look at our alignment and how it could be impacting our core function - posture really can make a difference. We will learn exercises and tricks to help improve our alignment. Cover a different topic each week relating to pelvic health - incontinence (leaking), bladder habits, nutrition, hormones, bowel habits, posture, abdominal separation, sex and everything in between. We discuss strategies to support not only our pelvic health (and health in general) now but also as we age. Is Core Confidence suitable for me? YES! Core Confidence is especially suitable if you: - are entering Peri-menopause or post-menopause. - have had a baby and feel like your core needs a little work. - like to train and want to do it in a way that improves your future health. - are suffering from those annoying leaks. - feel different "down there" or not as strong as you used to - have been diagnosed with or think you have diastasis recti (abdominal seperation) - have been diagnosed with prolapse or think you may have a pelvic organ prolapse - have had a hysterectomy or prolapse surgery Numbers limited to ensure everybody gets the attention they need.
